There are seasons when I have an irresistible urge to listen to Chrysler, and this page is for those times.
Acoustic Recordings from the era have an indescribable air of ennui.
I especially like to listen to the early days of his electric recordings, when he was full of energy and technique.

Fritz Kreisler - Concerto for Two Violins (in D minor) (Bach) [Disque Pour Gramophone 2-07918/22] (January 4, 1915)

Fritz Kreisler - CONCERTO IN E MINOR (Mendelssohn,Op.64) [Victor M19] (December 9-10, 1926)
Fritz Kreisler - A MAY BREEZE (Song Without Words) (Mendelssohn-Kreisler) [Victor M19] (December 14, 1926)

Kreisler's three major concertos have problems with the rpm of the recordings, especially a series of recordings made in December 1926, with a few discs with pitches equivalent to A=456-457 Hz or higher than A=460 Hz mixed in.
It seems that the turntable rotation was not well adjusted during the sessions in Berlin at this time.
The final side of Mendelssohn's concerto has a pitch that drops to the equivalent of A=449 Hz, and the sound is clearer and the instruments are more balanced, so this side may be a slightly later recording, rather than the date recorded as the recording date only for this side.
In the orchestra recordings of the Berlin State Opera in the near future, I have the impression that the range is generally A=446-450Hz when I examine other labels and HMV recordings made a few years later, so I have aligned the entire recording with A=449Hz on the 7th side this time. (I may change this if my research progresses)
